Absolutely incredible album from this collective whom I've never
heard of.
I would have never heard this CD, either, had I not walked into
Amoeba Records at PRECISELY the right time to hear this CD playing on
the soundsystem. After the two tracks they played, I knew I had to
have it.
So here it is: an absolutely amazing amalgam of oud, electronics,
cello, drums, and Middle Eastern percussion. I have to say it's
better than Pete Namlook and Burhan Ocal's "Sultan" project.
