Release Notes:
'my second surprise' is pretty much a one-man-act. The person
behind this title is Ayal Nistor, who has recently relocated to
san francisco, US (having spent the last few years in tel aviv,
Israel and brighton, UK). while promoting his debut album
'avoidance as a way of life', he will bring his unique one-man-
band show to wherever possible. 'avoidance as a way of life'
(produced by Ayal Nistor, Shimon Regev and Lenny Benbasat) is an
eclectic mlange, brilliantly woven together with intelligent,
unique arrangements around Ayal's moving songwriting and vocals.
The result is a bitter-sweet journey through the paths of
melancholy not without a joyful wink. This debut release (as well
as the live shows) has been earning raving reviews, and an
enthused following. my second surprise have been declared as Time
Out Magazine Tel Aviv's favorites (and the album was on their top
5 israeli albums of the year with the highest place for a non-
hebrew-speakin album), and recently signed by EMI Music
Publishing). my second surprises breath-taking debut video clip
(for the single 'perfect cure', directed by Limor Shneider for OG
Group) won the 'best Israeli video of the year' AMI award (the
israeli grammy), and has been playing recently on MTV europe and
on the 'indie music video festival' (Canada, US). my second
surprise (perfect cure) is also apprearing on a new promo video
for SNOCAP
