░ Club Kooky, helmed by DJ Gemma & Seymour Butz, started in the mid ░
░ 90s and remains one of the oddest and most interesting club nights ░
░ in Sydney. Right from the beginning it captured the imaginations of ░
░ the queer community as well as art school types, sex workers, bears, ░
░ musicians and freaks. In some ways we take the best elements of the ░
░ various niche arty and alternative scenes in Sydney and mash them ░
░ all together, giving them a home. Kooky is an eclectic club that has ░
░ an explicit policy of diversity of performance art and live music, ░
░ breaking down barriers between sounds and groups of people. ░
