DJ Jus Ed & Anton Sap split the duties equally on this quality four
track techy house EP. Kicking off with Anton Sap's "Captain Rush" a
nice piece of deep tech house, with a neat synth sound providing
the back bone, a set of crisp house beats and a quirky arrangement
to keep the interest up. next is Jus Ed with "Project" a piano led
deep house bomb with a nagging synth line and some old school beat
sounds. On side-B the theme continues with Anton's "On The Road" a
much deeper affair than the A-side, shuffling hi hats and big
atmospheric synths. Last up Jus Ed comes back with "Beat Down", the
winner for me a, filtered loop, easy groove and the kind of
manipulation that KDJ does so well.
