[About this release]
SHIN NISHIMURA started his career organising parties in his native
Shanghai. His career behind the decks gained pace quickly and saw him
playing his regular 'Plus Tokyo' parties, as well as regular sets at
Japan's 'Wire' festivals and guesting a the 'Mayday' party in
Germany. Since trying his hand in the studio, Shin has signed
releases to the 'Plus Tokyo' label. Now we bring you 'Phyceledic
Technelic', a dancefloor bomb of a track that opens with its skippy,
trippy percussion and beats, that lead you blindly into mind twisting
melody. A main set moment for sure!
The second track on this release comes from fellow frenchman PEDRO
BUCARELLI. Reasonably new to the scene Pedro began his DJ career in
2005, spinning at clubs and events such as 'DV1', 'Nuit Sonores' and
'Transbordeur' in Lyon. Since then his career has seen him play at
clubs not only in his native france but also in Germany and
Switzerland. During this time, his first production was released on
'Helvet Underground' and 2007 saw his second EP also on the same
label. Here he delivers an emotive journey of a track. With super
efx. popping toms and a layered bassline that drops into something
heavier and deeper, its a spooky, rolling ride that locks you in!
Mezzotinto are now going completely digital.
