Release Notes:

ôThe creative transpose of the world into notesö is the decisive element in the
music of the Sinti and Roma Gypsies. Violinist, Guitarist and Singer Martin
Weiss has taken the responsibility to modernize the playing style of Sinti-Jazz.
In his quartett own compositions influenced by Latin American rhythms and
Spanish Gitano music are combined with another to an original in its entirety.

Therefore its important for Martin Weiss to convert the principle ôless is
moreö. In the Martin Weiss Quartett you hear world music in the best meaning of
the word. Martin Weiss is a big fan of the famous äCrooners of Swingô like Frank
Sinatra, Joe Williams and others, who performed together with the great big
bands from Count Basie, Nelson Riddle or Duke Ellington and created unmistakable
sounds, formed out of ease and precision.

The arrangements are tuned for the Martin Weiss and his violin and on a few
classics he also grab the microphone and pay homage on his idols. The project
MARTIN WEISS GYPSY CELEBRATION is a must for all festivals in this world.
