*Ripper's note: the sleeve gives the date as 2007, but as the
release date is February 2008 (see the Plop myspace page) I
decided to use the latter.
Takahiro Kido is a sound artist from Tokyo, Japan. He is also
the composer of the group Anoice (Important Records). The
title "Fleursy Music" means "Flowery Music" (made from the
french word "Fleurs" which means flower) and shows his
intention to produce warm and beautiful sounds. You can hear
various instruments in the album such as Violin, Cello, Flute,
organ, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Tenor Sax, Voices, Computers etc.
and they all have rich textures as he records these
instruments in very unique situation like in the tunnel,
mountains, abandoned hotel lobby, concert hall - He is very
conscious about the colorful and diverse reverberation of the
nature. After the recording, he also processes and carefully
layers these sounds in his computer to obtain the perfect
combination. The 10 tracks here were selected among over 100
compositions he made by using these methods.
