Release Notes:
Sometime on the innocent end of 2001, a teakettle clattered to the floor of a
Brooklyn kitchen and Jeannie Kim, Nicole Whelan and Keach Hagey heard the future
of music. After a series of misunderstandings they decided to call it Fur Cups
For Teeth. Over time, guitar, bass and keyboards joined their arsenal of tiny
instruments ù Speak N Spell and Simon Says, kazoo and accordion, washboard and
vacuum cleaner. They developed dance moves, picked up a costume habit and added
a drummer, beat maestro Derek Pippin. The four of them have been knocking things
over and the kids out ever since. There arenÆt any rules, really. There have
never been. Punk rock, electropop, Motown, hoedown û the only logic is that
there is no logic.
