Akrasi are from South London and produce a mutant form of dub breakbeat
with strong vocals, uniquely british, like a black Kate Bush.
Akrasi have collaborated with MC Buzz B (Lionrock) who can be heard on
'Open up your Heart' and Jazz Trumpet player Kevin Davy best known for
his work with Lamb. Kevin can be heard on tracks like 'Play the Game'
and 'Forgotten'.
Funkstoerung heard the music and introduced Akrasi to Sellwell Records
in Munich. Since that initial meeting Akrasi have been over to Munich
several times to play at Southern Sessions Big Up Club, The Maria
Intscher Fashion Show in Paris and UK dates such as The Crystal Palace
Bowl.
Akrasi are also featured on a Musik Aus Strom Compilation together with
other artists from the Munich MAS stable.
