My Electric Love Affair (MELA) are a 3 piece from Edinburgh
and with this forthcoming seven on Static Caravan these Dead
or Alive beat poets follow up last years self released 12
inch. A slab of vinyl conjuring up a My Bloody Valentine/
loop/ Stooges/ vibe steam propelled rifferama. Infinate Mass
is more a throbbing Spector-esque wall of sound than a Joe
Meek production. Whilst (so) I'm alone takes the Mary Chain
route of scraping feedback and adds the repetitive rush of an
oasis chord that constantly nags at full volume. Be prepared
your speakers might not be able to take the strain.
