....gasgiant are essentially a 4-piece instrumental guitar band based in
edinburgh, although they do use guest musicians/life-savers for enhancement,
both in the studio and for live performances. gasgiant were wean'd in inverness,
went through a multitude of line-ups(some of them pretty shit hot) before
establishing themselves in edinburgh where todays line-up is set in concrete
with a lad from skye and another 'frae the borders'... gigs were a plenty,
playing with the likes of Mogwai, Ozric Tentacles, EAR, Broadcast, but to name a
few... ....having being absent on the scottish music scene for a while,
following the release of their debut album, 'Alexanders Dark Band', (bad timing
boys) gasgiant are delighted to announce their return to action with the release
of their second album, 'an uncertainty principle', out now!!!
