Release Notes:

The band known as Jack Anthony was showered with
gifts in the form of musical instruments courtesy of
the failed MTV reality pilot "Garage Band Makeover"
in February of 2006, most likely to compensate them
for the inevidable embarrassment that the show would
bring to them! At least, that is one of the
doctrines the band chooses to believe to console
them and help them come to terms with the loss of
the nationwide exposure they were robbed of!

Okay enough ranting. Basically, MTV didn't pay for
their next record like they said they would. In fact
they fell off the face of the Earth! So the band did
what they had to do, and sold a bunch of stuff and
produced it themselves.

The result is Spirits and the Scattered Screen. A
bit edgier and more aggressive than previous Jack
Anthony releases. But the original formula and
melodic awareness is definitely still very much in
the picture.

In explanation of the album's title, the band has
stated something to the effect of "Spirits = booze,
Scattered Screen = us not being on tv". Apparently
the two go hand in hand.
