Release Notes:
Weatherbox is made up of four bandmates; Brian Warren (vocals,
guitar), Mike Longfield (guitar), Ryan Hill (bass), and Justin
Green (drums) who came together in the sleepy southern Californian
town of San Diego.
Upon listening to their EP release due this fall [November 7th on
Doghouse] you may ask yourself how a group of Southern Cali
friends came up with lyrics that conjure a fantastic alternate
reality that many can only achieve with hallucinogens?and the
truth is, we don?t really know and may just have to wait till the
band?s full length debut (Due in early 2007).
As with Southern Californian mornings when the fog recedes from
the beach to show a glistening shoreline, The Clearing [not so]
quietly shines through the clutter of today?s rock music (much in
the same way that Doghouse alumni, Say Anything, have done).
