Release Notes:
Quaristice is Autechre's ninth album on Warp Records. It was made available for
download via bleep.com in FLAC and MP3 format on January 29, 2008. It is due for
a physical release on March 3, 2008. In an interview, Sean Booth said "the
actual product is the FLAC file û but I don't object to those who want to own
something that they can hold."
It is also to be released as a 2CD set with bonus alternate versions of 11
tracks on a second 68 minute CD. The casing is to be a photo-etched, steel case
and the release is to be limited to 1000 copies. The limited edition sold out
within 12 hours of being announced.
