Conscience transport the listener deep into another world. Singer/songwriter,
Matt Palmer, has crafted gorgeous, spiraling songs that are so rich with imagery
that the listener is swept up into his story. DC seeks to express feelings about
life, and how it happens as it happens, in a raw and unveiled manner.
Some songs make you want to float away amongst the stars, others make you wish
you had someone to share the stars with; it's all about feeling the music.
Most songs come from a particular moment in-between sleep and awake, when your
brain has a fit before it shuts down, and you can analyze your life
semi-consciencously.
Life is more than just a problem-solving venture, DC offers that there is even
more than love to be embraced, and that depression is a phase not an ending.

Primarily a solo acoustic act since 2002, Dextors Conscience has moved into more
performances as a full band. Dextors Conscience is currently in the studio
recording their debut full length album due for release in the Australian winter
of 2006. This year alone they have shared the stage with the Royal Engineers,
The Whistlestops, Repeat Offender, Another Day Down and a variety of others as
they are beginning to establish themselves on the Brisbane Scene. An upcoming
east cost tour in Sept/Oct is sure to add to their growing fan base.
