Release Notes:
The 70's are coming back in style. Wolfmother, The
Sword, Witchcraft and many more are spreading the
disease on a worldwide basis. Here in Sweden there
is a huge underground following for this type of
music and bands seem to pop up in every city. Mac
Blagick hails from the capital of Sweden, Stockholm,
and surely enough they've done their fair share of
research into the hard rock scene of the 60's and
70's. Unlike above mentioned acts they don't manage
to use their influences to create anything even
resembling good music. Some of the songs are decent
enough for a good head nodding (Girl of the Storm is
even quite good) but all in all this is a damp
affair. 70's aficionados might like this more than I
do but I'm far from convinced about their greatness.
Better luck next time. One bonus point awarded for
the great cover artwork!
Enjoy!
