Release Notes:

Can't tell you anything about Alan Wauters except
he's been in the music biz for some years and spent
some time in The Left Banke. "This Is My Life" is a
journey thru Wauters' projects from the mid 70s to
the 80s and most of the material is like a long lost
power pop you've never heard of but sure are glad
you found them! Lots of pristine jangle, gorgeously
sung vocals and harmonies and a host of musicians
many will find familiar here, including The
Rubinoos, members of The Greg Kihn Band(in fact, a
lof this material sounds like Kihn), Les Fradkin,
Eddie Money Band and Vance Or Towers, who released
one of my favorite albums in the mid 70s. A few of
the songs venture into the realm of sappy, but most
of the material here is strong enough for archving
and regular rotation in a power pop lovers Ipod and
music collection. Not only a fun find, a surprising
and enjoyable one for the pop purist. VERY Highly
Recommended!
