The voice of the latest Bond theme from Casino Royale (the
no. 2 smash 'You Know My Name') Audioslave and
Soundgarden, Chris Cornell follows an illustrious career
that has defined a generation, won Two Grammy Awards and
garnered 20 million album sales, with his eagerly awaited
new solo LP 'Carry On'. 'Arms Around Your Love' is the
glorious lead single, with its unforgettable hook and
insistent melody.
The track, like the whole album, was written by Chris and
is a sonic soundscape of heavyweight proportions. Produced
by Steve Lillywhite - whose previous credits include U2,
Rolling Stones and Morrissey - itÆs a masterclass in rock
and immaculately captures ChrisÆ exceptional voice, which
was once described as "rockÆs most elastic instrument".
