│ The album Rock 'n Roll Show (2005) which received some of the │░
│ group's strongest reviews to date, was the great breakthrough. The │░
│ band did not really come from nowhere. The albums 'Grow up to be │░
│ Just like you' (2001) and 'Thee without sin, throw the first stone' │░
│ (2003) were issued privately. │░
│ │░
│ The major turning point in the bands' career was the first single │░
│ Sadness from the album Rock 'n Roll Show. Sadness was a huge success │░
│ and a Number 1 hit in Belgium. The band won the prestigious TMF │░
│ Award for Best Music Video. Thanks to 'Sadness', Stash was also the │░
│ great winner at the Zamu Awards 2004. The song was chosen by the │░
│ general public as 'Best Song of the Year'. And the Music Video beat │░
│ illustrious competition such as Magnus, Soulwax and Zornik. Stash │░
│ was the only nominee to end the evening with two Awards. The single │░
│ 'I need a woman' definitely confirmed the success of the band. The │░
│ original album version was rearranged in a duet with Sarah Bettens │░
│ (former K's Choice). One said : 'Those different voices blend │░
│ together in perfect harmony'. │░

│ Following this success, the band performed live at all major │░
│ festivals in Belgium such as Rock Werchter, Marktrock Leuven, Dour │░
│ Festival and many others. In September last year Stash played an │░
│ exclusive gig at the PopKomm festival in Berlin. Popkomm is one of │░
│ Europe's leading music, media & entertainment industry tradeshows │░
│ and showcase festivals. And the audience... was unanimously │░
│ positive! │░
