Release Notes:
Rockers from the land Down Under the Lovetones are
planning on stopping by the States for two months
supporting their third and newest album, Axiom (Tee
Pee), which hits stores next Tuesday, June 19th.
The Australian quartet broke onto the music scene in
2002 with their debut album, Be What You Want, and
its subsequent success helped earn them a
high-profile spot opening for Morrissey's solo
Australia tour that year.
Tee Pee describes the new record as "rich with
accomplished instrumentation and out-there
dreamscapes, soaring melodies and lyrics filled with
longing," further comparing lead singer and
songwriter Matt Tow to a young Lennon, McCartney,
Bowie or Davies.
