These releases from 1981 & 82 respectively represent
the entire Sleeping Bag discography of NYC's mysterious
Dinosaur L, produced by the legendary Arthur Russell
with more than a few out-there and inspired effects that
messed with many a head, club staples transformed over
time into dancefloor titans.
Recorded in 1979, the 6 tracks of '24>24 Music' made almost
no sense, especially in the climate of the time, but Larry Levan
caned them at Paradise Garage, hooked by the their extraordinary
"otherness" - the title is a nod to the improvised nature of the
recordings, with the tracks arranged so the rhythm would change
every 24 bars.
Is it Disco, proto-house, jazz or who?

producers of all time.
