Elektrochemie is vocal club project, ripe with feeling that grips the club
dancefloor as much as live audiences. "Pleasure Seeker" is a sensual track that
immediately connects with the listener with the strong sultry vocals and
dramatic production. Opening with throbbing moog bass that hooks you straight
in, the heavily FX vocals weave like an instrument across growling bass textures
that gather power as they're filtered and dropped around the lyrical
arrangement. "Star Struck" comes on strong with a deep, LFO modulated bassline,
punchy 4/4 drums, and arousing glitches and clicks. The provocative vocals are
of a fan talking to the starry object of their lust, and all the things they'd
like to do to them. Finally, "Vexed" is a low slung seductive cut, an
introduction of how to please a woman... It builds gradually around a strong
analogue synth hook, intricate minimal percussion and subtle FX wrapped around
the lascivious lyrics. The tingling textures and yearning beats reach a
crescendo with the quivering vocal breakdown that will send dancefloors into a
frenzy.
