        ::  Mike Eckroth and Franklin Lamothe met briefly in la havana,
        ::
        ::  Cuba during 1990s and were reunited when Lamothe emigrated to the
        ::  USA fron his former home in Denamark and ended up in las vegas in
        ::  2005 . Lamothe had studied at Cuba s famed
        ::
        ::  ENA school and later move to europe to pursue his career
        ::
        ::  playing both Latin and comercial music ,before settling finally in
        ::  the USA Eckroth had spent the previous few years finishing up a
        ::  master s Degree at UNLV.....and working profesionally in vegas area
        ::  , and during 2005 the two work side by side in several of the city s
        ::  latin groups.
        ::
        ::  The idea of the sextet project came to be when drummer Hilario Bell
        ::  came to town for a few weeks whith a cuban show, later the same year
        ::  he returned to record bringing whith him compatriot and Rubalcaba
        ::  bassist Armando Gola.
        ::
        ::  the group added horn men Mike Gonzales and Phil Wigfall and went
        ::  into mo-sound studios at the end of october of 2005 to record an
        ::  album co-led and conceptualized by Eckroth and Lamothe.
        ::
        ::  Now hope to bring the project to audiences around the world and to
        ::  continue to do more recording.
