  █ █▓░█     This band is pretty indie yet a hundred percent           █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     dancefloor compatible which is actually rather            █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     heterogeneous to each other. But, honestly, they have     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     found the narrow path to dance on the peak without        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     losing any credibility.                                   █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Four to the Floor hits the kick under live played         █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     bass lines, ridden by dribbling funky guitars.            █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Rockin' Pop on electronic basics: smart and naive at      █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     the same time, exotic by nature, freshly grooving -       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     giving the right impetus for the day. Pitchtuner's        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     third album 'Riding The Fire' partly produced by          █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Moses Schneider (Beatsteaks, Tocotronic, Mediengruppe     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Telekommander etc.) presents the band on their            █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     highest stage. They got hot Disco Rock tracks such as     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Supersonic Ride on it, they reified feelings for          █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     dance beats (Dance!!!, Kill Me) and finally found the     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     right chemicals to tie 11 tracks to a homogeneous         █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     work that truly can be called album.                      █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Pitchtuner never has surrendered to newest hypes such     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     as New Rave at these days. Moreover, they stepped,        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     ran, flew their own way. That is why 'Riding The          █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Fire' is once again a Disco Rock album, but does not      █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     either serve distorted sounds as heard for the last 6     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     months nor has it got twisted Neo Punk attitude. It       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     is just Pitchtuner, fresh and lively again. Remixes       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     of the 2nd album have been done for them. Deliberatly     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     selected artists have contributed a good job for          █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Pitchtuner. Those are Jake Fairley (Sender),              █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Hometrainer (Doxa/Resopal), Das Pop (Rough Trade),        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     and Olympic Lifts (Bungalow).                             █░▓█ █

  █ █▓░█     They appeared at the beginning of 2002 by throwing        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     out their debut 'Flight Up The Winding Stairs' and        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     has been causing some confusion within the                █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     selfquoting electronica scene. With an unpuristical       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     and above all refreshingly bubbling mixture               █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Pitchtuner might have been right in time at the right     █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     place.                                                    █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     The band has been confessing an unconventional kind       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     to work with electronic compositions by crossing          █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     genres and aiming on pop.                                 █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Pitchtuner have been playing for years, have studied      █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     their own attitude and worked hardly on musical           █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     basics. They consolidated a style between funky           █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     electro house (featuring David Byrne guitar licks)        █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     and technoidly kicking electro bastard tunes. Yeah,       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     Though the 80's are sounding just through overlying       █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     more contemporary sound layers, which carry the           █░▓█ █
  █ █▓░█     switching Japanese/German vocals.                         █░▓█ █
