Taking an excursion from his work on highly respected labels like
Treibstoff, we are proud to announce the release of a new jazz-fueled
EP from respected Berlin/Cologne DJ & Producer Rene Breitbarth.
'Le Rythme Korg' is a remarkable production which combines Rene's
detailed studio knowledge and expert sound values, with a raw and
provocative deep house vibe. The irresistible tones of the lead synth
carry us through the many exciting twists this 'Rythme' has on offer,
urged along by the funked out wobbles of the percussion at the centre
of the track. This is seductive and entrancing night music, giving us
the sense that Breitbarth's musical heritage fathoms far deeper than
most!
German underground house duo Westpark Unit shake 'Le Rythme Korg' up
a notch with a driving, constant remix which enters the spectrum with
just a single kick drum, but builds layers upon layers to release an
intense and exciting dancefloor rush. Not only content with sending
the crowd crazy with its first peak however, a warming piano solo
appears to surprising blissed-out effect, before more subliminal jazz
percussion works its magic!
Keeping his passion for classic instruments alive then, 'Le Groove
Rhodes' goes even further to demonstrate Breitbarth's love of
jazz-infused house. The phasing Rhodes keyboard hooks float above a
thick blanket of shaken percussion, keeping the listener absolutely
locked in and wishing there was no end to the track, so that the
sumptuous groove would never end...
