Release Notes:
Around and Around, the bands debut EP, was released on February 1st, 2008 at a
long-awaited release event held at Ellicottville Brewing Company in the bands
native Fredonia, NY. After receiving some press from the local Chautauqua
Region Word, the showÆs total headcount for the night reached well over two
hundred fans. The self recorded, produced, and engineered EP sold over one
hundred copies in the first month of its release, crediting only live shows for
promotion of the disc. With the release behind them, Flood the Shoreline is
looking ahead to the future, making the music available at popular retailers
such as iTunes, CDBaby, and subscription services like Rhapsody and the recently
revived Napster. They promise never to compromise the consistency of live
shows, nor the honesty of their music.
