Jeff Mills, arguably the most innovative techno producer in the
world, hails from Detroit, the founding city of techno. He has
taken the position as one of the fore-runners of the "2nd wave"
of Detroit producers alongside such artists as Robert Hood, Carl
Craig, and Stacey Pullen. On Jeff's Axis label, he experiments
with more atmospheric sounds, but this one still bears the
unmistakeable Mills sound.. taking the art of making music to
new heights.
"As the barriers fall around the world, the need to understand others
and the way they live, think, and dream is a task that is nearly
impossible to imagine without theory and explanation.
And as we approach the next century with hope and prosperity, this
