Blackbelt Andersen takes time out from the Internet to bring us
another slice of Norweigian acid boogie, on Full Pupp. "Syrup" is a
brilliant long drawn out semi ambient builder, with a huge acid
line running through the middle, the track gradually builds and
builds until finally dropping the kick about half way in, and
breaking things down to a nice little bongo led groove. Over on
side-B Prins Thomas brings us Diskomiks, stretching out "Syrup" in
a similar style to the original, but with a bit more tempo and
urgency.
