Spanning two compact discs and over 30 songs that cove his
        entire career at Island Records.
Chant Down Babylon/The Island Anthology is the definitive
Burning Spear collection, featuring all of his classic songs,
plus a bevy of essential rarities,
including 12-inch mixes and dub versions.
While the original singles and album tracks are classics,
the rare dub and 12-inch mixes are nearly as essential,
since Burning Spear's dub mixes were as influential,
if not more so, than the original versions.
Since Chant Down Babylon showcases both sides of his talents,
it is the definitive retrospective ù it's a necessary item
        for any reggae library.
