Burning Babylon is a Dub Reggae experience firmly anchored
in the 1970's Jamaican roots tradition but, also with an ear
to the "Neo Dub" sound of the past few years.
The overall sound of this band is a pleasant one; indeed a
mix of nu-dub and the 70s elements we know and love so well.
Enough variety and explorations to make this CD interesting
from beginning to end.
The songs i find most rootsy are Tree of Life and Dubby
Conqueror.
Roots heavy starts of with a nice guitar while Radio Zion
kicks it off with keyboards.
Chalice of Shiva has all that it promises: a dub groove and
some indian vocals.
Well I&I leave the rest of the exploration to all you Dub
Adventurers!
Enjoy
JahMon
