Originally formed in 1999 as 'The Silverslut' in Uppsala, Sweden by
members Johan Zeitler, Jonathan Nilsson, Tina Bergstr÷m, Tomas Svahn,
Joakim Jacobsson and Razmig Tekeyan, the band released six ep's under
that name between 2000 and 2002. All songs from that period are
available on the download only album The Silverslut. Per Tholander
replaced Jonathan on drums on the last ep.
During the time of recording their first full-length album in 2003, Per
had a dream of a neon sign that simply read 'The Search'. Days after
this dream, the band changed their name. The Search was released the
following year.
