█ "Touch My Body" is a song co-written by American singer Mariah Carey,
█ Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Crystal "Cri$tyle" Johnson and Terius
█ "The-Dream" Nash for Carey's eleventh studio album, E=MC2, due 2008-04-15.

█ First of all, we would like to dedicate this release to all who put the music

█ We feel it is necessary to release this even though the Remix Featuring
█ The-Dream already exists:

█ Why? Because it seems Radio Express is sourcing some of their tracks from not
█ so legit sources. The average bitrate of our track is 11 kbps higher. We've
█ seen similar situations where other groups will dupe another release claiming
█ "better quality" because of a higher bitrate. This is not due to quality,
█ however, but rather higher normalization of the audio. This causes an
█ increase in audio bitrate. The bitrate increase in our release is not due to
█ mastering, though. The spectral of the track in the SC release
█ (comparison.jpg) shows the high-end is pretty non-existant. The spectral
█ should look like ours. The missing high-end indicates Radio Express sourcing
█ the track from something other than CDDA. We don't blame SC for any of this,
█ we know they are a reputable group and I personally love the Urban and Pop
█ Express series (so please keep releasing from Radio Express!), but we do have
█ to question where Radio Express gets some of their tracks. This isn't the
█ first time I've personally encountered track of questionable quality from
█ Radio Express either. Refer to radioexpress.jpg for another track. Other
█ series (eg. Promo Only, ERG, X-Mix, etc.) don't have such issues. And if you
█ think we're just saying some crazy talk, please refer yourself to the
█ HydrogenAudio forums (place full of audio enthusiasts and LAME developers)
█ and you will get the same information as we are providing: the spectrals of
█ an audio file is a very good measure of quality. Bitrates only tell half the
█ story, as they are also affected by the volume level. LAME doesn't cut off at
█ 19 KHz for nothing! If the bitrate increase was caused by higher
█ normalization on our rip, we wouldn't go through all this trouble, we arent
█ in this for e-fame. But the spectrals tell another story, so based on this
█ and our profound love for quality, we choose to release anyway. Plus, it's MC!
█ I know most people will have difficulty understanding this, but it is in your
█ extreme benefit to learn this information. You can spot a lot of defects in
█ releases utilizing techniques that we have demonstrated. We want to enlighten
█ the whole audio scene.
█
█ Consider all this info before you hit that nuke button ;p. And if you do,
█ we're willing to take the bullet for Mariah <3. Last but not least, enjoy the
