GHOST CAULDRON is a collective conducted by DJ Kaos, a former member
of Berlin based Terranova, and his partner CE.EL, who has been a very
close friend since back in the skating days. Thru the mutual love of
music they decided to start the Ghost Cauldron project. Loose members
of the squad include guest vocalists (e.g. Anti Pop Consortium, Apani
B Fly) and guest producers like Patrick Pulsinger.
DJ Kaos has been pretty busy lately, besides releasing an EP on
Compost Records he was involved in Cameron Mc Vey's (who has been
working with Sugarbabes and Massive Attack) latest project.
He then has then decided to approach one of the most exceptional
female MC's, Apani B Fly from New York City - and the single "Whole
World" is the amazing outcome of this great collaboration.
Apani B Fly is known for being a member of the mighty "Polyrhythm
Addicts" crew (alongside DJ Spinna and Mr. Complex). Her laid back
style, which reminds of early Native Tongue days builds a perfect
symbiosis in conjunction with Kaos┤ production skills.
Just like on the former EP "Fear" the Viennese DJ and producer
Patrick Pulsinger has contributed a splendid remix version, which
takes "Whole World" to an entire different level! Another mix (only
on the official retail version) has been delivered by Mo┤Wax artist
Black Lodge!
Besides Djing all over the place Kaos is currently in the studio he
has set up with CE.EL getting the final touch on the upcoming GHOST
CAULDRON album "Invent Modest Fires", to be released early 2003 on
!K7.
