Those who are familiar with Ben Lukas Boysen's 5 year catalog of
workwill notice an important change while listening to this
album. His former creations can be seen as explorations of
different sound facetstransforming Boysen's feelings into music.
It took time for this artist to subordinate the innumerable
technical possibilities to become implements of his inner self,
and he already began to walk this newpath with '0000'.
Now, Boysen qualifies 'Night Falls' as a turningpoint in hecq's
personal and musical history, and also as a conclusionof what
hecq stood for until now. Artistic expression of
personalexperiences are often difficult because these
experiences often blockthe artist's creativity. in exceptional
cases it is possible to do, oneof these cases is 'Night Falls'.
The predominant mood of the twelvetracks which were recorded as
