Over the past 2 years, Marc Leclair aka Akufen has made an
unforgettable impression on the techno and house community with
some of the most invigorating, inspiring 12" singles on Germany's
leading dance labels Perlon, Trapez, Background, Traum, and of
course Force Inc.
Worldwide, he can be found on DJ top ten charts, these sought after
releases have placed him in a remarkable position for the future
and most definitely the missing link between the reinventions of
new techno and house.
Finally, Akufen moves ahead to the CD populace with his debut album
entitled "My Way". Arguably, Force Inc's finest releases of the
past 5 years, My Way & Mac226; is a collection of brand new
material.
Recorded in a remote area of Northern Canada in January 2002,
Akufen enlightens with his shortwave radio broadbands, cutting and
splicing the formulas of house techno and pop into sensibilities
that emanate one simple word Funk! His influences trace to the
early house movement (Giorgio Moroder particularly), Steve Reich,
French House, and Cologne techno can be found throughout this.
"Deck The House" single has already snuck onto DJ decks as a
one-sided limited edition 12" and weeks before the album's release,
"Deck The House" will be released as officially with remixes by

DRUM released the "Advanced CD" containing 9 tracks a few weeks ago,
