Release Notes:

Blue Room was founded in spring 1998. After the first few concerts and an
intense preparation phase the band participated at some music contests. Their
very personal Alternative Rock has earned them the title of ôBest Luxembourgish
Unplugged Groupöalready in 1999, as well as the second place at the WhoÆs Best
Æ99 and third place at the Emergenza Contest 2001 in Luxembourg.

In the year 2000 Blue Room focused almost entirely on the production and
recording of their first longplayer öPrivate Stuffö. During the whole year they
kept trying to achieve satisfaction with the sound at their own ôSunsetspace
Studiosö, but after almost completing the CD, they decided the recordings
werenÆt good enough and went straight into a real professional studio to
re-record it all again. That was done in the midst of winter 2000-2001.

Blue Room took part at the Emergenza Contest 2001, EuropeÆs biggest
Newcomercontest and finished in 3rd place in Luxembourg.

Many big appearences followed, like for instance LuxembourgÆs famous ôRock um
Knuedlerö in Luxembourg City (with the Headliner Ash), ôRock a Maacherö, the
ôOpen Air Partyö in Echternach (with Reinvented and Uncle Ho) as well as the
ôAlive Festivalö in St. Vith in Belgium (alongside Headliners like Sub7even, Dog
eat Dog and Iggy Pop). Blue Room earned a well-deserved reputation for being an
excellent Live-Band.

The forementioned gigs as well as the the largely acclaimed appearance as a
support act for Heather Nova have propelled Blue Room into the ranks of the most
promising young bands from Luxembourg.
