█▓
██ Make way for a groove-laden musical force that
██ will calibrate your heartbeat to dance mode.
██ Vendetta Valentine delivers a punkish, electro
██ rock sound capable of leaving fans shaking, punks
██ thrashing, housewives dancing, and alterna-kids
██ feeling hip for a second or two. Rockers rejoice -
██ this is what youÆve been looking for.
██
██ With distinguished layers of sonic guitars and
██ lush keyboards fronted by their gripping
██ retro-dance punk beats, in-your-face vocals and an
██ ear for sophisticated pop poignancy, Vendetta
██ Valentine is able to combine the smarts of The
██ Pixies and the dance feel of Finger Eleven with
██ the boldness of Modest Mouse.
██
██ Using Santa Ana, California as their home base,
██ the group consists of Thomas Monroe (vocals,
██ rhythm guitar), Daniel Powell (guitar, bass, drum
██ machine programming), and Anna Judd (keyboard,
██ synthesizers). The trio blends a variety of music,
██ bringing in influences from hip-hop artists such
██ as Tribe Called Quest, Dr. Dre, and OutKast, while
██ interweaving the psytrance, techno, and classical
██ genres to bring their musical structures together.
██ Their innovative combinations of styles makes
██ Vendetta ValentineÆs sound a profound musical
██ statement that resonates into our day and age.
██
██ This trioÆs artistic endeavor doesnÆt stop with
██ just music. Each member takes part in various
██ other forms of multimedia arts. Monroe is a
██ well-read art aficionado, and is also an author of
██ the novel NeevaÆs Gift. Powell has his hands in
██ video production and post, while Judd is a studio
██ artist, drawing and painting. Vendetta ValentineÆs
██ work is a pristine mirror into each memberÆs
██ extra-musical activities and hobbies, shedding
██ light on an whole new layer of meaning behind the
██ music.
██
██ Vendetta ValentineÆs freshman effort, ThereÆs
██ Nothing Safe, is a quintessential product of their
██ artistic efforts, crafting a tightly produced,
██ hook-laden rock album appealing to indie, punk,
██ and alternative fans alike. The album takes you to
██ the edge and pushes you over into the dark sexy
██ world of mutinous heroes and dance sensibilities.
██
██ Armed with accessible and driving material such as
██ the B-52Æs style ôLet It Burnö, the forceful
██ ôGoldenö and the retro-grooving ôDissidentsö, itÆs
██ no wonder that Vendetta Valentine has already
██ scored airplay on KROQ Los Angeles and been asked
██ to license their music on MTV.
██
██ Recent Praise: "One of the Top 10 unsigned bands
██ in Southern Californiaà" - KROQ Los Angeles
