Organic electro trip hop artist Palasina has gathered praise as a producer
of unique sonic landscapes. The debut album "All I Found" released in 2002,
a collaboration between Jus Aname and DJ Skream, will be joined by a new
album in April 2008. After Jus Aname joined the circus, the onus of leading
Palasina moved to Pietu Korhonen, who promptly dropped the alias DJ Skream.
The second Palasina album "For a Little While" was released April 2nd, 2008.
"For a Little While" takes the listener to a journey in an athmospheric
soundscape and holds a tight grip all the way. Visiting as the vocalist and
co-writer on "Cold" is Lumimarja Wilenius. The album has been recorded in
Korhonen's own studio, the cover art is by Elina Warsta and the album is
mastered by Tim Young (Massive Attack, Björk, DJ Shadow, etc.) of Metropolis
Group.
