Don't be thrown by looney-tune titles like ''Cosmic Dance of Shiva''
and ''Paradox of Time Dilation.'' On his first album, Mark Gage, an
electronic composer also known as the one-man group Vapourspace, will
talk sense to your ears, especially if you're anxious about hitchhiking
on the information superhighway. Spanning the globe of techno
(reverberating beats, ambient swoops, symphonic sampling suites), Gage
toys empathetically with your headphones, as if he actually cared how
your future sounds.
