█░ legendary Seigmen. This excellent industrial rock band from ░█
█░ Norway had decided to stop its activities a couple of years ░█
█░ ago and, thank God, here they are back, with a bigger label, ░█
█░ more money and promotion, but the same talent. ░█

█░ With 'Clone your lover', Zeromancer proves to take the ░█
█░ Seigmen feeling in a new direction. With their previous ░█
█░ band, Kim Ljung and co. were playing a very emotional kind ░█
█░ of industrial rock, focused on the voice and the lyrics. ░█
█░ This time, the guitars are really more present, as well as ░█
█░ some pretty bombastic rhythms. The voice is also harsher ░█
█░ (for example on 'Fade to Black', an excellent song, after a ░█
█░ couple of spins). However, the sad/intelligent mood of the ░█
█░ Seigmen is still very present on tracks like 'Split ░█
█░ Seconds', 'Houses of cards' and the breath-taking 'Something ░█
█░ for the pain'. ░█

█░ Playing an original kind of industrial rock, using a lot of ░█
█░ melodic keyboard lines and blessed with a very controlled ░█
█░ and clear sound, Zeromancer proves to be probably the best ░█
█░ thing that Europe can offer in this very American style. In ░█
█░ a way, you can clearly hear that the band has got a big ░█
█░ production behind them. But the original and very honest ░█
█░ sound these musicians have has not been corrupted. 'Clone ░█
█░ your lover' is an excellent candy for the ears and the soul, ░█

█░ Cleopatra Records. This album originally came out in 2000, ░█
█░ on EastWest records, and now comes with a bonus track. The ░█
█░ track's not exclusive to this album, but is a better version ░█
█░ of Something For The Pain, from another fine Industrail ░█
█░ Dance group, Apoptygma Berzerk. Both of these bands' latest ░█
█░ albums were much too dancy for me, and this album "takes you ░█
█░ back" to the earlier days (yeah, only two years back) of ░█
