The first UK Waydown EP features two tracks from Catherine Wheel's
1993 XFM radio session. "Show Me Mary" and "Kill Rhythm," both
from Chrome, get reworkings committed to tape by John Lee, the man
behind some of the band's earlier recordings. The XFM versions
rival the originals, showcasing an immediate edge not prevalent on
the studio versions. (www.allmusic.com)
