Jamaram are always and everywhere on the move and they
shout their passion from any rooftop. Their message?
Joie de vivre. Fun. Positive energy.
"We sound like a five course menu on a fork", says
JAMARAM singer Tom Lugo about their third album
(release 25th April 2008). "Everything is there, from
the starter thru to the dessert - and it tastes
delicious!"
Reggae, funk, soul, latin, swing, ska, pop and rock -
the menu is delicious, whether it is played in the
streets, or with all eight musicians in clubs ranging
from North Germany to Portugal.
Songwriting in the streets and in the communal
kitchen. Practice during a sound check then directly
heading to the recording studio. Restless, colourful,
raw, impulsive and bursting with energy - that is the
new album. Music of the future entranced on a CD.
One can experience that during their Street-Music-Tour
in March, at the concerts of the Album-Release-Tour
and at the summer festivals (see tour dates!).
