Spark (a.k.a. Matt Willox) is 23 year old web designer/freelance
musician from Vancouver, Canada. 'Spark' was started in 1998 by
Matt when he decided to shift his focus from industrial music to a
softer IDM type music. This change in focus came about from his
love of early low bit video game systems like Intellivision. His
influences include chiptune musicians, warp, pink floyd and other
'online' musicians. Sparks music reflects his influences. Washed
out synths and bleeps mixed with crunchy low-bit percussion are
what Spark has evolved into. Sparks first release for n5MD is a CD
entitled "The Robotic Girl Next Door".
