Release Notes:
Ian KENT is an American songwriter/musician from
upstate New York. Following in the footsteps of
woody Guthrie and Jack Kerouac, Ian hitchhiked
across the USA a few times before moving to Paris
in the 1990s where he still lives today.
His raspy voice, guitar and knowledge of American
music made him a choice singer for a number of
bands, including Blackstone, whose third album is
coming out in May.
Trick Bag, Ian KENT's first solo album features
thirteen original songs and one cover and offers a
mixture of folk, soul, rock and country music. Ian
sings, writes lyrics and music, plays guitar, slide
guitar and mandolin. Bass, drums and additional
sounds are provided by Kent's band, The Immigrants.
