      █░█▒      heartbreaking story of a world-weary romantic and    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      his attempt to woo a potential lover with the        ▒█░█
      █░█▒      unique beauty and isolation of an interstellar       ▒█░█
      █░█▒      tour.  What begins as an us-versus-them fling        ▒█░█
      █░█▒      quickly sours into a me-versus-you implosion,        ▒█░█
      █░█▒      leaving the suitor alienated and reluctantly         ▒█░█
      █░█▒      homebound. The brief optimism of the album's         ▒█░█
      █░█▒      opening numbers is quickly shadowed as the pursuit   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      of a detached muse becomes glaringly futile. The     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      lead eventually accepts the loss with a permanent    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      and painful dose of salt in the heart.               ▒█░█

      █░█▒      The album covers as much ground sonically as it      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      does in its storytelling.  From a jaundiced,         ▒█░█

      █░█▒      Miss Me, to the slow-jam sabotage of Space Bars,     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      the coming to terms groove of Wooden, all the way    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      to their unceremonious grounding in On the Moon,     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      These Modern Socks take you up and all the way down  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      with their eclectic musical palette.                 ▒█░█
