 ▌ Split release from Kid 606/5ive Continuum Research Project, wherein  ▐
 ▌ their combined noodling accumulates to over 30 minutes of playing    ▐
 ▌ time. Starting with the Kid 606 offerings, you may well be in for a  ▐
 ▌ surprise if you're expecting some nuts to the wall earbleed action.  ▐
 ▌ Plodding and downcast post-rock, 'Audition' won't go down as a Kid   ▐
 ▌ classic as the change of pace for the Tigerbeat-boy renders him      ▐
 ▌ pretty toothless. More recognisable on the acid-glam stomp of        ▐
 ▌ 'Titanium', this time he suffers through an aural likeness to the    ▐
 ▌ Space Raiders (what do you mean you haven't heard of them?) Top 200  ▐
 ▌ single. Over on the other, 5ive Continuum aim for a bit of post-     ▐
 ▌ rock/bit of drone-core and end up not really hitting either on       ▐
 ▌ 'Soma', whilst 'Reso-1' sounds not unlike a lost demo tape from The  ▐
 ▌ Doors...                                                             ▐
