| | æB-Boy AscendanceÆ is really just that.. two | |
| | b-boys plying their trade in a new scene | |
| | unfamiliar with an illustrious 70Æs b-boy | |
| | past. The producers dwelve into their library | |
| | of rare gems and sample more breaks never | |
| | used before [yet again] in Dnb to form an | |
| | infectious groove. Deep music is the main | |
| | frame here. Feedback bass with layered female | |
| | whistling really set the mood and | |
| | esoteric-esque samples appear where they | |
| | shouldnÆt in trademark style. Dark motions | |
| | drive the mood forward whilst the breaks | |
| | switch frequency reminiscent of the | |
| | Grandmaster Flash and Bootsy Collins days. A | |
| | breakdown of eery soundscapes paint a picture | |
| | of what goes through the producers minds and | |
| | when the break reappears its all perfectly | |
| | clear as the dark sounds intensify and leave | |
| | a trail of Nucleus and ParadoxÆs obsession | |
| | into the occult and mystery. | |
