dXb One afternoon in late 2004, the loungin' A&R were dXb
dXb flicking through demos and as per normal every cd dXb
dXb they put in the player was the Same old formulas of dXb
dXb bland broken beats Mixed with VST plug-in's. They dXb
dXb were hot expecting mach judging by the cover of the dXb
dXb last cd, bat ras they put the first track to play dXb
dXb everyone in the room realized that this was something dXb
dXb very special. Eighty minutes and nineteen tracks dXb
dXb later, loungin' wrote to Art and arranged a meeting dXb
dXb in Paris the following week, promptly signing the dXb
dXb young Parisian for a two album deal. The rest as they dXb
dXb say is history.... This second Single features dXb
dXb remixes taken from the Album "Between Yesterday and dXb
dXb Tomorrow". The tracks were Chosen by the remixers dXb
dXb with Input from Arthur (Art) along the way. dXb

dXb The EP Starts off with Another Island remixed by dXb
dXb Slope. The track builds an the beautiful vocals of dXb
dXb Aida Khaan & Ulrich Miljavac with a real summer dXb
dXb groove. If you close your eyes you can See yourself dXb
dXb an the Island we are talking about! The Beats are dXb
dXb delivered with Slope's trademark attention to dXb
dXb production & detail. This is not a remix that has dXb
dXb been taken from obvious Parts of the original, bat a dXb
dXb piece of music you could listen to for years to come. dXb
dXb The second track is Another Island (Slope Dub). When dXb
dXb Slope were asked to work an this project, the spec dXb
dXb was to remix their favourite track from the Album, dXb
dXb but even we were surprised when they submitted 2 dXb
dXb mixes to us. It seems that Hans & Daniel liked the dXb
dXb original so much they couldn't decide which direction dXb
dXb to Lake the mix, so they did both! The dub shares dXb
dXb many of the elements of the remix, but is delivered dXb
dXb in a manner reminiscent of the Cut and Paste Sound dXb
dXb Best known from Akufen. dXb

dXb Flipping over to Side B, the EP moves onto Charlie dXb
dXb Dark's Between Yesterday & Tomorrow 19 Longtime Mix). dXb
dXb This mix is appropriately named as it has grown from dXb
dXb a Sketch delivered to the label last summer. The mix dXb
dXb has real Charlie Dark trademark elements, deepness, dXb
dXb analogue keys, atmospherics, vocal snippets, a real dXb
dXb Blacktronica vibe humber for the heads out there, dXb
dXb Plus anyone who likes to have music that challenges dXb
dXb and is not strictly obvious. I would say that this dXb
dXb mix is a real grower as you get into it more & more dXb
dXb with every play. dXb

dXb The final mix is by loungin's in house team Li'll Bo dXb
dXb Tweak. This is a project with Trevor Loveys of House dXb
dXb of 909, Speakerjunk & Switch fame coming together dXb
dXb with Chris Belsey of loungin' recordings. The mix was dXb
dXb done to try to capture the vibe of an early 80's dXb
dXb Boogie number in the style of Street Sound / Nu dXb
dXb Groove, bat to add a contemporary twist. The result dXb
