█▀░░ PsyCZ group was formed in spring 2001 by its first three members ... ░░▀█
█▀░ But as every group grows and gets new members, new people joined PsyCZ ░▀█
█▀░ to help us in our mission. Our main common loved genere was psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ ... of course, but everone of us likes several more genres. This caused, ░▀█
█▀░ that several members began to demand releasing other music styles such ░▀█
█▀░ as ambient, drum&bass and few more ... So we realized, that our original ░▀█
█▀░ name PsyCZ is a little uncomfortable, because it highlights our psy - ░▀█
█▀░ sight. After few days of debates we decided to found new sub-group ... ░▀█
█▀░ and here we are ... PsyCZ_NP will bring you plenty of non psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ music ... especially ambient, but some other genres are planned too. ░▀█
█▀░ Why did we decide for non-psy? Changing of the group name isn't possible ░▀█
█▀░ so possibilities we had was only adding a suffix to current group name ░▀█
█▀░░ ... so have chosen non-psy, because it's clearest and most fluent ... ░░▀█

█▀║ This unusual excursion by Gabrielle Roth & The Mirrors is awesome. ║▀█
█▀║ Boris Grebenshikov, the former Soviet Republic's most famous ║▀█
█▀║ underground pop artist, has been a practicing Tibetan Buddhist for ║▀█
█▀║ years. Inspired and envisioning an opportunity for creating a healing ║▀█
█▀║ experience, Gabrielle and Boris have crafted a body of work based on ║▀█
█▀║ the spiritual richness of Tibet with the use of ancient sanskrit ║▀█
█▀║ chants as the focus. Meditative and peaceful, with mantra-like grooves ║▀█
█▀║ of percussion and other instruments, the music lends well to sitting, ║▀█
█▀║ sacred dance, and bodywork. Boris' voice is gentle but resonant and is ║▀█
█▀║ backed up occasionally by a chorus of both males and females. This ║▀█
█▀║ stuff is not flashy or even overtly dynamic but it is extremely ║▀█
█▀║ powerful and trance-inducing. The juice comes from the mantras that ║▀█
█▀║ are sung. Some of the traditional melodies have been used, but most ║▀█
█▀║ have been adapted or changed to fit the mood of the record, which is ║▀█
█▀║ reverent and voluptuous. The musicians that make up The Mirrors are ║▀█
█▀║ all top-notch session musicians with credentials out the yeeha, but ║▀█
█▀║ wherever vocalist and viola player Allison Cornell shows up, ║▀█
█▀║ additional magic happens. Note: this CD creates a craving for repeated ║▀█
█▀║ listening, you just can't help it. ║▀█

█▀║ In remembrance of the plight of Tibetans and their homeland, violently ║▀█
█▀║ occupied by China for over 30 years, all royalties from the sale of ║▀█
