Release Notes:

A hugely talented singer and songwriter, and a natural live performer, David
Jordan is putting a fresh and exciting new slant on British pop by incorporating
searing rock guitars, throbbing party rhythms, memorable melodies and the spirit
of "the greats" who inspired him as he was growing up (from James Brown, Jimi
Hendrix, Cab Calloway to Guns n' Roses, Prince and Lenny Kravitz). As his Trevor
Horn-produced debut album suggests, he'll 'Set The Mood' for you a little...
The power of David's music stems from his vivid imagination: you can hear it in
unfettered, boundary-breaking songs such as debut single 'Place In My Heart',
where his aversion to society's petty rules and regulations is laid bare over a
creamy, agile pop-soul backing that builds magnificently to a rocking crescendo;
you can hear it in the touching lullaby 'Sweet Prince', where the arrival of his
sister's first baby finds him contemplating the miracle of new life; and you can
hear it as he runs through the gamut of joyous and painful emotions in the
gospel-influenced ballad 'Only Living Soul' and the heavier, pulsating 'Sun Goes
Down'.
